SPMG collaborated with the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne (RDHM) to develop a Theatre Upgrade and Capital Works Strategy. The project involved preparing a detailed report on theatre and sterilisation facility refurbishments, assessing various scenario combinations to minimise operational disruptions.
Key aspects included reviewing infrastructure upgrades essential for new surgical equipment, focusing on scope, downtime, and cost implications. SPMG created a construction programme for each scenario, factoring in time and cost, particularly considering long lead times for equipment.
We conducted a thorough budget analysis, engaged with stakeholders and user groups to ensure a comprehensive understanding of facility needs, and presented findings and recommendations to the board and stakeholders.
