Specialised is engaged by builder Maben to oversee the Design and Construction of various building services, including mechanical systems (featuring Building Automation Systems), electrical, hydraulics (gas, sewer, and water), lifts, fire systems, and communications for this project. Specialised’s responsibilities include managing the delivery of a comprehensive building services design and documentation package before final sign-off, collaborating closely with Bates Smart, Robert Bird, and ADP Consultants. They work alongside Newmark Capital to ensure that the requirements of new tenants, including Mecca Maxim, Clemenger, and Rodd and Gunn, are met. Specialised reviews design and documentation packages against the master brief, preparing a deviations tracking report to manage any discrepancies. They also oversee the preparation of updated documentation reflecting the deviations register while liaising with relevant authorities, contractors, and client representatives. This includes coordination with VicRoads to incorporate base building requirements prior to the commencement of construction and integrated fitout works.
In addition, our team coordinated with contractors, client representatives, and relevant infrastructure authorities to streamline project execution. We liaised with VicRoads to incorporate essential base building requirements before construction and integrated fit-out works commence. SPMG ensured all updated documentation accurately reflects any deviations, maintaining alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.
